They Lost My Lawn Mower - lawnmower repair

I took my Torro lawn mower in to get the blades sharpened in February 2014. Two and a half months later they tell me they lost my law mower. They will not give us money for the lawn mower but they give us a brand new Craftsman mower. The new lawn mower does not start and they refuse to fix it because they say it is not under warranty because we technically did not purchase it. I have spent three hours on the phone with Sear's version of Customer Service. They torture you with horrible hold music and they love to leave you on hold for 30 minutes or more!
