GE refrigerator needing repair
Sears repair sucks. I call Sears repair for a noise coming from the refrigerator. The polite serviceman (Chris) came out in about a week and said it needed a new motor, which he then ordered. He told me it would arrive to me in about one week and then a service tech would return. One week later another tech showed up, took the refrigerator apart and then, looking at the new part, said they sent the wrong part, and another part would need to be ordered with another scheduled return one week later. A week later another UPS package arrived and I opened it and thought it looked identical to the previous wrong part. I called the 1-800 number to request that a tech mgr call me so I could explain my findings. No one called.
A week later when no call came and no tech showed up, I called and they then informed me they had cancelled the appointment. I rescheduled for today and when the technician arrived he looked at the part and said it was the wrong part. That's four (4) times I had to be at home for the attempted repair, and still no repair made.
I GIVE UP. I have over $6,000 of new appliances ordered from Sears for my new house but I believe I will cancel them due to their slipshod way of handling repairs
